Your First Cowboy Silhouette Shoot

Rifle Cartridge Cowboy Silhouette^*

• When: The Second Sunday of each month.
• Time: (Participation limited to the first 32 shooters signed up) Apr.–Sept. sign–up begins at 8:00 AM / match begins at 9:00 AM. Oct.–Mar. sign–up begins at 9:00 AM / match begins at 10:00 AM.
• Course of Fire: 40 round match, fired offhand, 10 shots each at steel Chickens, Pigs, Turkeys, and Rams at 50, 100, 150, and 200 meters respectively (full-size silhouettes).
• Rifles: Tubular magazine lever-action, tubular magazine pump-action, or single-shot. No semi-auto, box fed, or bolt actions. Rifles must have an exposed hammer, and must have iron sights only, including open, tang, or receiver types. Fiber-optic, hooded, and Globe type front sights are allowed. Stocks must be solid wood, no synthetic or laminated types. No scope rails or ported barrels. Target or Schutzen-type items such as thumb hole stocks, palm rests, adjustable and/or hooked butt plates, and adjustable cheek rests are prohibited.
• Ammo: Rimmed, center-fire cartridges using round or flat-nosed bullets (35 rem. permitted) e.g.; 25-35, 30-30, 32WS, 32-40, .357 mag/38 spec., 38-40, 38-55, .41 mag, .44 mag/spec., 44-40, 45 Long Colt, 45-70.
• Fees: (Cash Only, Please) GGC members $10.00, non-members $15.00, Juniors (17 yrs / under): Free with paying adult.

Pistol Cartridge Cowboy Silhouette^*

• When: The Third Sunday of each month.
• Time: (Participation limited to the first 48 shooters signed up) Apr.–Sept. sign–up begins at 8:00 AM / match begins at 9:00 AM. Oct.–Mar. sign–up begins at 9:00 AM / match begins at 10:00 AM.
• Course of Fire: 40 round match, fired offhand, 10 shots each at steel Chickens, Pigs, Turkeys, and Rams at 40, 50, 75, and 100 meters respectively (half-size silhouettes).
• Revolver Class: Any standard production Single-Action, Bbl. Length of 10 ¾" or less, iron sights only.
• Rifles: Tubular magazine lever-action, tubular magazine pump-action, or single-shot. No semi-auto, box fed, or bolt actions. Rifles must have an exposed hammer, and must have iron sights only, including open, tang, or receiver types. Fiber-optic, hooded, and Globe type front sights are allowed. Stocks must be solid wood, no synthetic or laminated types. No scope rails or ported barrels. Target or Schutzen-type items such as thumb hole stocks, palm rests, adjustable and/or hooked butt plates, and adjustable cheek rests are prohibited.
• Ammo: Lead Bullets Only, With A Maximum Velocity of 1,100 FPS or Less. Rimmed center-fire pistol cartridges* e.g.; 25-20, 32 H&R mag., 32-20, .357 mag (reduced load), 38 special, 38-40, 41 mag (reduced load), 44-40, 44 mag (reduced load), 45 long colt. *22 mag permitted, including jacketed, at standard 22 mag velocities.
• Fees: (Cash Only, Please) GGC members $10.00, non-members $15.00, Juniors (17 yrs / under): Free with paying adult.

.22 Rimfire Cowboy Silhouette^*

• When: The Fourth Saturday of each month.
• Time: (Participation limited to the first 48 shooters signed up) Apr.–Sept. sign–up begins at 8:00 AM / match begins at 9:00 AM. Oct.–Mar. sign–up begins at 9:00 AM / match begins at 10:00 AM.
• Course of Fire: 40 round match, fired offhand, 10 shots each at steel Chickens, Pigs, Turkeys, and Rams at 40, 50, 75, and 100 meters respectively (half size silhouettes).
• Revolver Class: Any standard production Single-Action, Bbl. Length of 10 ¾" or less, iron sights only.
